The current of Huchet
20 minutes from the hotel (16 kilometres)
Nicknamed the little Landes Amazon, the Huchet stream is an umbilical cord between the Léon lake and the Atlantic Ocean. Rich in fauna and flora, the current was classified as a nature reserve in 1981.
Magnificent landscapes are offered to visitors who go there. It is also possible to discover the area in a different way thanks to the "Bateliers du courant d'Huchet" company: get on board a galupe and sail down the current to the ocean.
The beach of Cap de l'Homy

Want to lay your towel on the sand? Head for Cap de l'Homy and its beach! You will discover a beautiful stretch of fine sand, untouched by any construction. A small paradise where you can fully appreciate the sea air.

Contis lighthouse

Come and discover the only lighthouse in the Landes department and the first lighthouse on the Neo-Aquitaine coast! Built in 1862 under Napoleon III, the Contis lighthouse is distinguished by its two white stripes that wrap around the building.
At 38 metres high, the lighthouse is accessible to the curious who wish to venture to its summit.
